Owner Relations

Unit strives to maintain a positive relationship with our landowners, mineral owners, and interest owners. Our land administration professionals are dedicated to serving the needs of our landowners, mineral owners, and interest owners including interest transfers, address changes, revenue related questions and other concerns.

Please note:

  1. All changes of ownership must be filed of record in the County/Parish where the property is located.
  2. All payees are required to provide a social security, or tax identification number or Federal Law requires tax withholding.
  3. Laws of agency preclude us from providing forms for conveying real property interests. However, you may contact an attorney, Legal Aid Society, or your local Bar Association for assistance in handling these matters.
  4. Retain your check detail for future reference.
  5. Affidavit of Heirship form needs to be printed on 8 1/2 x 11 paper.
